Terms Of Service and Acceptable Usage Policy

CISNS does not officially offer any free services to the general community with the exception of information accessed from it's webserver in the manner intended. Any free services offered by CISNS or by the staff of CISNS are purely an as-is service and may be revoked at any time, with or without notice.

1) Attempts to circumvent user authentication or security of any host, network, or account will not be tolerated.

2) Any attempt to interfere with service to any user, host, or network will result in immediate termination.

3) Comsuming excessive system or network resources will result in the termination of processes and possibly account termination.

4) Using systems to engage in any illegal or illicit activity will result in immediate termination of your account.

5) Account owners are responsible for the proper maintainance of the security of their own passwords and account security. Violations discovered during audits may result in the termination of accounts.

6) Probing of systems and networks is strictly prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to: portscans, attempted buffer overflows, denial of service attacks.

CISNS and it's staff reserve the right to divulge any and all information stored on services owned by CISNS and it's affiliates. CISNS may cooperate fully with investigations of systems or network security at local or remote sites, including cooperating with law enforcement authorities in the investigation. CISNS reserves the right to present law enforcement agencies with any account information deemed necessary without the approval or notification of the account owner.
